a commemorating volume for firstfruits exhibition “wolfnotes: 6 artists x 6 authors”.

The exhibition shows that artists and authors share similar concerns about image, affect, interpretation, association, longing, corporeality and temporality.

The artists put to test the influence of books and words on their lives as individuals and as artists. What has surfaced from these wolfnotes is that reading can deepen and shed new light on abiding artistic concerns.

This comes through in each one of these works, singular and charged like a bolt of lightning.
